About Pattani

Pattani is a small Province with irresistible charm, rich in historical significance and distinctive customs and traditions as a result of its ethnic diversity and wonderful hospitality; Pattani also has natural scenic beauty that includes rivers, streams, and waterfalls as well as long golden beaches along the Gulf of Thailand.

How to go
There is bus service, including air-conditioned busses from the Transport Co., Ltd. that connect Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal and Pattani daily. The trip takes 15 to 16 hours and costs between 600 and 1500 baht. For more details, call 0 2435 1119 or 0 2434 5557-8, or visit www.transport.co.th
There are no trains directly to Pattani, but there are trains to nearby Yala. From Bangkok’s Hua Lumphong Station there are both express and rapid trains to Yala (four departures daily). There are no regular commercial flights to Pattani. Visitors can fly to Hat Yai and then take a regular bus or taxi from Hat Yai to Pattani, a distance of about 100 kilometers.

Hat Wasukri

The beach is about 52 kilometres from Pattani and about 2 kilometres from Sai Buri. It is in Patatimo Village, TambonTaluban. Visitors can use the Pattani-Narathiwat route or use the route passing Hat Khae Khae to Sai Buri, or directly turn left at the junction to Sai Buri. The beach is parallel to the pine line. Bungalows are also available for service.
